Stephen Schlesinger is currently the Director of the World Policy Institute, a foreign policy thinktank at New School University in New York. He is the author of three books:Act of Creation: The Founding of the United Nations; Bitter Fruit: The Story of the U.S. Coup in Guatemala; and The New Reformers.

Mr.Schlesinger's dossier is voluminous and includes acting as Special Advisor to Secretary-General of Habitat II, United Nations (1995-97); Chief Political correspondent for the New York Post (1978);and staff writer for Time magazine (1974-78).

He has provided commentary on CNN,The Today Show, Fox Cable News Network, NPR, Japanese Television Fuji and numerous radio shows, including Larry King Live.
