In his newest book "SCHULZ: A Biography," noted biographer David Michaelis examines the life of Charles Schulz, creator of the internationally beloved "Peanuts" cartoon strip featuring Charlie Brown and his everloyal dog Snoopy. At the time of Schulz's death in February 2000, "Peanuts" appeared in more than 2,600 newspapers in 75 countries. David Michaelis is also the author of the award-winning "N.C. WYETH: A Biography," which was reviewed on the cover of The New York Times Book Review in November 1998.
